GENERAL INFORMATION
The METRAL
®
connector range is the standard 2 mm board-to-board
and cable-to-board interconnect system designed in accordance with
IEC 61076-4-104 and Telcordia® GR-1217-CORE.
Connector system used for chassis based packaging in the
communications, data, medical and Industrial and Instrumentation
segments.
The METRAL
®
connector system is applicable for low speed and high
speed transmission and switching equipment.
Signals from 2 up to 5 Gbp/s used in backplanes, mid-planes, extension
cards, power (3 up to 60 amps) and I/O applications.
The Catalog presents the full range of METRAL
®
connectors, signal,
(high) power, shielded, cable and hybrid connectors, all with various
choices in dimensions, features and options.
