Embedded Flash
There is totally 15 Kbytes flash embedded in the MPC89x53A.
The embedded flash is shared by the user application program code and the ISP program
code.
While the program counter of MPC89x53A is spanning over 2BFFh/33FFh/37FFh/3BFFh, the
device will fetch its program code from the external memory at once ignoring the
/EA
pin status.
In that case, it will never fetch the program code from the following embedded flash.
The user can develop the ISP program and put it into the embedded flash that addressed from
2C00h, 3400h, or 3800h by configuring
OR0[5:4].
Excluding the ISP program.
