1. The PDZ-2B series is a
CaseFree,
lumped element power divider designed for
size and process compatibility with MMIC
and similar devices. The low 0.130" profile
allows it to be mounted into a low profile
hermetic package with other miniature com-
ponents using silver epoxy, solder or wire
bonding attachment methods.
2. The basic power divider is a hybrid junc-
tion with one of its ports internally termi-
nated. For in-phase power division, such as
the PDZ-2B series, the E port is internally
terminated.
3. These units employ a broadband, high
isolation design using lumped element tech-
nology mounted on a metallized alumina
substrate. Similar units are available in sur-
face mount and other similar packages.
