The SPECTRA-155 Trace Message Mode 2 Status register indicates section
trace message (J0 byte) and path trace message (J1 byte) unstable states when
operating in mode 2. In mode 2 operation, a stable condition is considered as
receiving the same byte (J0 or J1) for forty-eight consecutive SONET/SDH
frame.
STIU2V:
The section trace identifier message unstable value bit reports the
stable/unstable status of the section identifier message framer. When high,
the corresponding message framer is in the unstable state. When low, the
corresponding message framer is in the stable state.
PTIU2V#1, PTIU2V#2, PTIU2V#3:
The path trace identifier message unstable value bit reports the
stable/unstable status of the path identifier message framer. When high, the
corresponding message framer is in the unstable state. When low, the
corresponding message framer is in the stable state.
