Functional Description
The converter input is protected against surges and
transients occurring on the source lines. The highly efficient
input filter and the active inrush limiter ensure a very low
inrush current of short duration. This prevents circuit
breakers and fuses from being damaged at switch on.
The converter is equipped with two independent high
efficiency 2-switch forward converters, switching 180° out
of phase to minimize ripple current at the input. Both
converters are fully regulated. On the secondary side, two
