Description.
Conductor insulation: special PVC, separation soft tape, tinned copper braid, min.
coverage 85%, EMC 89/336/EC. Outer sheath: special PVC.
Application.
Cables used in explosion risk area “i” (IEC 60079-11 Intrisically Safe) are blue
coloured to be always easily identified.
This screen reduces EMI (Electromagnetic Interferences) noises up to 100 kHz caused by power
lines and by inductive circuits such as electrovalves, motors, transformers, etc., see paragraph
“Signal Transmission Noises” in the section “General Information.”.
Moderate resistance to common oils. Flame resistance grade: CEI 20-22 II and IEC 60332-3A.
Limited resistance to abrasion. Cables for intrinsically safe areas are also available in a non-
shielded version: see MN-NK.
Mutual Capacitance:
wire/wire about 130 nF/km @ 1 kHz; wire/shielding about 185 nF/km.
Inductance:
about 0,65 mH / km.
Max working voltage:
300 V.

Descrizione.
Isolante conduttori: PVC speciale, nastro morbido di separazione, schermo
a treccia in rame stagnato, copertura minima 85%, EMC 89/336/CE. Guaina esterna: PVC
speciale.
Impiego.
I cavi utilizzati in zone a rischio di esplosione “i” (IEC 60079-11 Sicurezza Intrinseca)
sono di colore blu per essere sempre facilmente identificabili.
Questo schermo riduce disturbi EMI (Interferenze Elettromagnetiche) fino a 100 kHz generati
da linee di potenza e da circuiti induttivi come elettrovalvole, motori, trasformatori, ecc.,
v. paragrafo “Disturbi di Trasmissione Segnali” nella sezione “Informazioni Generali”.
Moderata resistenza agli oli comuni. Grado di resistenza alla fiamma: CEI 20-22 II e
IEC 60332-3A. Limitata resistenza all’abrasione. I cavi per aree a sicurezza intrinseca sono
disponibili anche nella versione senza schermo: vedere MN-NK.
Mutua Capacità:
conduttore/conduttore circa 130 nF/km @ 1 kHz; conduttore/schermo circa
185 nF/km.
