Description
The PGE 608 33 is an integrated EDFA module including control electronics
suitable for DWDM systems where fast transient control and gain flattening
is required. It embodies a single 980 nm pump laser and operates in constant
gain/constant power mode. Booster-, line- and preamplifier configurations
are available.
Controller/electronic features
- User controlled working mode (constant gain/constant power).
- User programmable alarm, operating and gain levels.
- Transient suppression (constant gain mode).
- Standard serial communication channel.
- Single 3.3 V power supply.
- Standard D-Sub 15 connector.
- Digital 1/0 signals can be configurated for 3.3 V or 5 V.
- The electrical connector/signals are ESD protected due to HBM (2000
V) and MM (200 V).
