　　2007年上任的西门子总裁兼首席执行官罗旭德（PeterLoscher）有自己的思考。作为西门子历史上第一位外聘CEO,罗旭德用“科技公司”来概括西门子,指出其多元化的基础其实是专注化,专注的领域是超越当前技术水平几代的“飞跃”阶段。对中国,他清晰地记得上世纪80年代在香港中文大学求学时期,在上海看到的自行车大潮和黄浦江对岸的浦东稻田,坚信今天的中国能够成为创新的发源地,经济转型任务艰巨但能够实现。
　　“与一些仍在计划和尝试进入中国的跨国企业相比,我们一直就在这里。”谈到参观建于1912年的云南水电站时,看到了仍可正常运转的西门子电机,他备感自豪。
　　在他眼中,中国不仅是西门子的市场和生产基地,更是人才的汇聚地和研发中心。西门子在成都建立的自动化工厂,是德国以外首座全数字化基地;西门子为中国特制的诊疗产品和医疗解决方案,从最初出口到亚洲和拉美的新兴市场,直到打入了美国、欧洲等发达市场。
　　短暂的采访无法涵盖“西门子无处不在”的方方面面,罗旭德更坦言自己也要寻求东北亚区首席执行官程美玮的帮助,才能解答有关中国具体业务的问题。即便如此,他的见解值得关注。经济学和工商管理学教育背景的罗旭德,同时还担任德国经济亚太委员会主席、欧洲工业家圆桌会议副主席,并在德意志银行和慕尼黑再保险股份有限公司担任监事。
